Since my Dad’s birthday is this week, I’ll share a photo from 1957 – my father and I feeding the ducks at Forest Park.
Twenty years later, I fed the ducks at Forest Park with my daughter.
And fifty years gone by… I feed the ducks at Forest Park with my granddaughter.
Life (and Forest Park) goes on.

I just love how you passed that tradition on to your daughter and your granddaughter!!!
You are adorable in this photo!!!
awww….what a wonderful tradition Forest Park has been in your family. So special…thanks for sharing.
I love your 1950’s photo. I think we had the same dress.
I was born in 1953 and my mom dressed me the same way. Thanks for sharing this special memory today.
Blessings,
Debbie
that’s one of my favorite family photos!
I have a picture of my grandpa feeding the ducks with my little brother and my even younger cousin at Reseda Park…I love that picture…he’s holding them by the backs of their shirts. It is neat to think of you passing that tradition on year after year…very neat.
I love that you kept the circle going. This is a beautiful picture and a great memory!
