Even if you live in an apartment, townhouse, or condominium development without much space for landscaping, the right mix of ingredients on a balcony, patio, terrace, or rooftop can be an oasis that provides food and rest for wildlife in an urban concrete desert. Coordinated efforts by neighbors can transform an entire multi-unit building or complex into a thriving urban habitat that is part of a larger living landscape.

Cute – if you want all those nasty birds. (I have a serious bird phobia)!
Give me concrete and a few potted plants and I’m happy.
Actually, I did just buy two beautiful climbing red roses – huge patio plants. The wind is beating the you know what out of them.

I have a small population of native birds who visit my tiny patio garden every day. Happy TT.
I am afraid of birds too! Plus, all that poop? No, thanks!

I love landscaping, I have more perennials than anyone else in my neighborhood. I have over 120 different Hosta’s, I also plant for the hummingbirds, butterflies, and even the bees. We garden too, growing your own fruits and veges is more rewarding than over paying at the store. My TT is up too.
I love my yard and all it is
