Tuesday’s Tip Jar – Make a Floating Swan from Paper

tip-jar-button

This week’s Tuesday’s Tip Jar at Blog Momma’s features summer water safety tips for the kids.

Once their safety is assured, you might want to help them make a flotilla of paper swans for some pretty entertainment.

Here’s how -

1. Print the swan pattern (click on the image to get the full size), trace it onto glazed or waxed paper, making two copies. Cut them out.

2. Paste the swans together with the exception of the flap marked AB. Spread flaps apart at the dotted lines.

3. Paste these flaps to the plastic lid of a margerine or similar container and set your swan afloat.

(is it just me? Or have kids gotten a whole lot cuter since the 1950’s ? the poor little thing…)
