We’re still in waiting for our new apartment, but we ( I ) cannot contain my excitement any longer. We’re going to be able to have a dog again and we have to decide what kind it will be. The apartment manager has narrowed the field quite a bit by imposing a “no pet may exceed 20lb” rule. Maya narrows it a bit further by adding the “must be sturdy enough to be loved by a four year old” qualification. But there are still plenty of pups to choose from.

I still like the toy fox terriers, although they do look a bit dainty. Grampy feels that a pug mix would be best – a stout hearted little dog for an enthusiastic little girl.
