Outside my window… it is night. I’m late with the Daybook – again.
I am thinking… that the day just flew by and I’m not sure what I did with the time.
I am thankful for… the opportunity to share Easter dinner with my family.
From the learning rooms… moving ahead with our nature study. Maya has taken an interest in the flower and bird identification books. The flower book only lists flowers that grow in our part of the country, but the bird book has a wider range. I don’t think we’re likely to sight a flamingo, pelican or condor any time soon.
From the kitchen… Maya and I made apple crisp this afternoon.
I am wearing… my pajamas and poncho.
I am creating… (playing at) knitting squares of different patterns.
I am going… to plan a nature hike for midweek. Hopefully it will warm enough to bring a picnic lunch.
I am reading… through the volumes of an old arts and crafts encyclopedia.
I am hoping… to put my new project together this week. I’ve been hoping that for quite a while. Too long. I hope this is the week I get it done.
I am hearing… Russ watching TV and eating ice cream. You can hear someone eating ice cream if you want ice cream but know you shouldn’t eat any. Especially not this late at night.
Around the house… the untidy clutter of too many projects and too little FlyLady.
One of my favorite things… long, lazy evenings.
A few plans for the rest of the week: a week of quiet after the busy-ness of the last week.
Here is picture thought I am sharing…
