It’s been unusually hot and dry, but there are a few changes in the garden this week.
The celosia have plumes.
The snapdragons are blossomed.
The petunias continue to thrive happily in the flower cart with Maya’s tender care.
The big news is Grampy’s Oriental Lily! Gorgeous!

There is Big Excitement! around the first bud on Grampy’s new rosebush
The petunias in the flower cart are coming along beautifully
The pansies are getting tired and “leggy”. I’m going to try to extend their season a bit by cutting them back – we’ll enjoy the blooms from the cutting in a vase on the table.
We have hope for the sunflowers. Some are a little scraggly – this one is doing great!
